Peace Baby Buddha street project

The start of May sees the beginning of a new on going street project for me. I designed these “Peace Baby Buddha’s” originally 4 years ago, based loosely on an cheap gift shop ornament. The original piece was a small sized canvas which lacked detail.

This redesigned for 2017 version with the slogan of “peace comes from within” is designed and sprayed on foam board. Manchester being one of my favourite cities was the obvious choice to “hit first”. Ten of these “Peace Baby Buddha’s” have been stuck high up around Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

The pieces with their bright colours add a nice vibe, amuse and ultimately send out a positive message on the streets.

So far they have received great feedback on social media.
